You know those people who are really good at finding gifts for others but don’t really expect/need a gift themselves to be happy? That’s not me.
Lolol, I’m partially kidding – I really do love finding others the perfect gift and get SO excited right before they are about to open something I know they will love. But I also looove receiving gifts. In particular, I personally like thoughtful yet practical gifts. My favourite kind of gifts are the ones that aren’t necessarily pricey, but things I would use regularly.
Incase you are stumped this year on what to get the special Mom’s in your life, (orrr you know your husband will need some help so you will be printing this off and handing it to him lol) I got you. Here are the items I either already have and use regularly OR would love to receive from my hubby this Mother’s Day! (hint hint, Dav lol)
Revlon Dryer Brush. This little beauty is at the top of my wishlist right now! It apparently is the one of the best tools for an at-home blowout and is super affordable. Prob just gonna order one for myself by the end of this month if I don’t receive one on Mother’s Day… just sayin lol.
iRobot Roomba. The priciest item on my gift guide, but hear me out – this thing is the BEST. I got one for Christmas last year and it is my right hand woman..robot. If you have kids, dogs, a messy husband / want someone else to do vaccum for you (who doesn’t?!) You need this in your life.
Joanna Gaines Cookbook. If you’ve been following along with me on the gram, you’ll know I recently bought her first cookbook and am OBSESSED with it. So much so that I ask Dav to get me her second one (that just launched earlier this month!). I found it discounted and ready to ship to arrive before Mother’s Day for you!
A Candle. Who doesn’t love a good candle!? Legit, get me a fancy candle that smells like vanilla or coconut (bonus points if it smells like both!) for any occasion, and I will one happy girl.
Fancy Skincare Products. I would never buy this for myself because I’m too cheap when it comes to skincare products, but I’ve heard this brand in particular is amazing! I would be so stoked to recieve this little set for Mother’s Day.
My Favourite Perfume. Again, a classic gift that I would be happy to receive for any occassion – as long as I don’t already have a stockpile of them! Flowerbomb in particular has been my go-to for a few years now. Have you tried it?!
Bissel Steam Mop. I feel like people that know me well will think I’m being sarcastic by adding a mop to my gift guide lol. But this baby has sooo many good reviews on Amazon and it kinda makes me want to see what all the hype is about!
A full nights sleep.
A day spent with family.
A clean house.
A cooked meal.
A sincere “thank you for all you do” and “I love you” from your husband & kids.
Sure, gifts are great and all – but let me fill you in on a little secret: The only thing all of us Mom’s truly want on Mother’s Day is to feel appreciated and loved. Anddd I want that cookbook. Lol ok byeeee!
