I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but just incase you missed it – EVERY woman needs a chambray button up!!! And let me tell you, not all chambray tops are created equal. This onemade the cut for a #styledmyway post because it ticks off all the boxes I believe a good chambray button-up should:
- fits you properly in all areas – lengthwise, bust, arms, etc
- comes in a wash that is versatile
- functional snaps/buttons that don’t pop open
- comfortable – often the hardest box to check off when it comes to chambray tops
My favourite part about this particular chambray button up is that it is SO comfortable. Like, waaay comfier than the other chambray tops I’ve had in the past. So now that you know why you need one – let’s chat about different ways you could style it!
Casual Mom OOTD –
This ensemble will be my mom uniform the next few months as its so easy to breastfeed in, is trendy, and has the perfect amount of layers for spring!

Business Casual –
I love how denim looks with red, so was pumped to put this look together! You could easily wear this type of outfit to the office if your company allows for a more business casual vibe by swapping out black leggings for a cute pair of black dress pants. The printed leather flats give this particular outfit even more personality – this is probably my favourite way to style this shirt!

Canadian Tuxedo –
I’ve done a previous post about my love for the Canadian tuxedo (read about that here), so naturally had to include it as a styling option! I usually wouldn’t pair this similar of denim washes together though – I’m just super limited right now in the maternity jeans that fit me right now! I would recommend going either with a dark skinny jean on the bottom or a white jean to create more of a contrast.
Chambray Dressed Up –
I also love how pairing a denim top and skirt looks! There’s something about mixing the casual/western vibe of a chambray top with a feminine skirt that is right up my style alley. If you aren’t as much of a leopard lover as me, you could go for really any coloured pleated midi skirt OR if a tulle midi skirt if you really want to dress it up!
