Dressy Evenings Out in Vegas
I recently went on a girls weekend trip to Vegas with my mother & sister inlaws to see the one and only – Celine Dion!! Her show was AMAZING and we had the best time. Apparently the theme of the weekend for me was blue because both evenings we went out I wore blue dresses.
The first one I found in a little shop right in Caesars Palace the day of her show. I can’t find my exact one online but here, here, and here are some in a similar style! I loved it so much I had to swap out what I initially planned to wear for it! I knew I wanted something that was comfortable but a bit grander than my usual attire. I mean… ya gotta look your best when you’re going to be in the presence of the queen..
I wore ear climbers similar to these ones to dress the first outfit up a bit more and brought along a clutch almost identical to this one.
The next evening, we went to the cirque show O. (Which is an incredible water themed show – you definitely should check it out if you’re in Vegas!!) It was super hot the entire weekend we were there (like 35 degrees celsius hot) so I brought a long a couple shorter dresses and ended up wearing an older lace skater dress I bought from Target a few years ago similar to this one.
This time, I chose to wear this statement necklace with my outfit. I love how well teal and blue pairs together without looking too matchy-matchy! I also was able to bring along this purse on the trip as I didn’t have my daughter with me so a massive diaper bag was not required. My how I’ve missed toting around this little purse instead of a diaper bag..
Since I had blisters all over my feet (ouuuch!) from walking the strip the first night we arrived, I opted for these simple and comfortable sandals both nights. Def not the most fancy option for my outfits, but in this scenario pain>beauty people.
Until we meet again Vegas & my small Kate Spade purse!
