Comfy Summer Romper Two Ways
I have never been a romper girl. I always found they did not work well for the proportions of my body type. However, when I saw this super cute, affordable one online – I just had to try it out. I’m so happy I did because it is honestly like wearing PJ’s!!! Aside from it being the comfiest clothing piece that I own that is acceptable to wear out in public, I am in love with the colour and fluttery portion of the top. So cute and feminine. I have been living in this romper on the super hot days of summer so far. The first time I wore it I chose a very subtle, simple look. I was going to the farm to have supper with my parents soo.. no need to get fancy. Therefore, I wore it with my go-to sandals and super dainty accessories like this necklace and this watch.
The next time I wore it was for Sask Fashion Week in Regina. I had never been to fashion week before, so was not really sure what to wear and didn’t have a lot of time to put an outfit together as I bought a ticket the night before the event! (I know – how very nonKiteen-like of me! haha) It was really warm that day but super windy so I threw on a long black blazer over it to keep warm and to make the outfit more… fashiony. I also amped it up with a statement necklace similar to this one and these wedge heels. I was also so excited to bring my fav clutch along instead of my bigass diaper bag. Sask Fashion Week was FANTASTIC the night I went and I will definitely be going back. Maybe next year I’ll even give myself a few days to plan an outfit..
