Easy Casual Spring Outfit
I apologize to all you 9-5er’s out there that are wishing I would share some more outfits appropriate for the office buuuut I just can’t get off the casual train. Especially since I got my mat leave extended to the end of this summer! Although, the majority of the outfits I wear you could totally transform into a business casual look (like this outfit for example – takeaway the jacket + add some heels and BAM, office appropriate!) So until I go back to work (if I do end up going back…) you are stuck with me creating outfits that for the majority, are casual.
The peplum top I’m wearing in this outfit is one that I so often reach for. It’s such a good staple in both style and colour. The one I’m wearing is particularly great because it is super soft and stretchy! The exact one I’m wearing is this one, but it has sold out so here is a very similar one. The jacket that I am wearing over top is definitely a personal favourite of mine. I have had it a few years now and still wear it super often in the spring and fall. Mine is from Gap, but here is a similar one. I decided to wear my blush pink pants (similar to these ones) with this outfit to give it a bit more colour.
I slid on my ultra comfy Coach loafers which I bought awhile back on a sweet sale at Marshalls. Here is super similar pair of MK loafers that are currently on sale! I ended up wearing a necklace similar to this one (umm…I’m trying really hard not to buy this one for myself right now!!) with the outfit because I felt it was a bit too “blah” without it. Also, the necklace was a great distraction for Violet in the grocery store while I tried to shop…
