Picking a Multifunctional Outfit
Whew. I was really struggling with what to wear the day I took these pics.. I had some house work to do, groceries to buy, but also was going for supper and a movie with a friend in Regina that night. I wanted something casual enough that I could walk through the grocery store without people giving me a weird look for wearing heels, but also something at least semi-dressy because I was PUMPED to go on a little date night! So this is what I came up with. I love the vibrant colour of my green tank (similar here) – it is a nice material that doesn’t wrinkle and is quite easy to dress up or down. My skinny jeans are similar to these ones and are a must for running around and for longer car rides because they are super soft & stretchy! I had two bevies, an appetizer, and a big meal of ribs & potatoes at the restaurant and still didn’t feel the urge to unbutton my pants in the movie theatre! I’m gonna go ahead and call that a personal victory. The jacket I’m wearing is similar to this one – I threw it on because the wind made it a bit chilly out and also because I felt it dressed the outfit up a little more!
The flats that I’m wearing are similar to these ones – I love how easy it is to wear them for casual OR dressier outfits! They honestly go with pretty much everything in my closet. My necklace is the addition that really took this outfit up a notch and into the dressier realm. I just got it from Reitman’s a few days ago so was excited to have a reason/outfit to wear it with already! It looks like my exact necklace has sold out, but here is a similar one.

Does anyone else have difficulties picking an outfit that’s suitable for multiple situations?! The struggle is real my friends.
