Weekend OOTD: Waffle Knit & Utility Jacket
Comfort is everything when you’re a mom on the go. Sometimes I struggle with finding a good balance between being comfortable and stylish. I get so pumped when I find pieces that work perfectly for my lifestyle, like this waffle knit top. I hope waffle knit patterns stay in style for awhile, because I love them!! The waffle knits I have are all super comfy and functional. I’m particularly loving the one I’m wearing in this post because it also has nice flow and is sooo versatile! I wore this top while we are on vaycay in Arizona tied up with high waisted shorts, on the airplane, and now under my utility jacket. Those are the types of pieces you need in your closet – the ones that you can wear multiple ways in different climates that are neutral enough to have a somewhat “timeless” appeal to them. My utility jacket is an oldie from Garage, but here is a similar, affordable one. This is another timeless piece that you can wear with so many outfits! I’ve honestly had mine for years and plan to keep wearing it many years to come! Can you guys GUESS what jeans I’m wearing?? See what I did there – I gave you a hint! haha they are my favourite skinny blue jeans, which you can find here. (Side Note: I have noticed lately they are starting to get a little tight…prob just due to shrinking in the dryer and nothing to do with eating too much McD’s…. JK it has everything to do with McDs. Also, I’m no longer breastfeeding so there goes that extra calorie burn I was enjoying!!)
Here is the same brand and style (except mine aren’t perforated) as my booties and my earrings are these ones. I’m sorry you see me wear them all the time, but they honestly go with about 85% of the things in my closet so I just can’t help myself!! My watch is this one.
